Leslie Storms, RN, M.S is an internationally recognized yoga teacher who loves living the practice.

Meet Leslie

Leslie Storms practicing core yoga as part of a lifelong yoga practice.

Hi y’all, I’m Leslie.

I love balancing on my hands, learning everything I can about what it means to live with an open and grateful heart, and exploring the many ways our everyday lives can become part of our practice.

I believe in prayer, in our capacity to heal, and in paying attention to the quiet things that help us remember what matters.

A lot of people don’t know that I love to cook. I’m a bit of a closet chef and rarely follow a recipe exactly. For me, cooking is about having nourishing, seasonal ingredients on hand and giving myself the freedom to explore, create, and see what comes together.

I think of myself as a practicing optimist. Not because life is always easy or beautiful, but because I want to keep becoming someone who can recognize what is still good, still sacred, and still worthy of gratitude.

I was born and raised in Texas and have lived here all my life, though some part of my heart has always dreamed of a quieter life near the sea.

When I’m not practicing yoga or learning something new, you can usually find me with our two rescue dogs or making something with my hands—a flower mandala, a batch of muffins, a meal from whatever happens to be in the kitchen, or a new way of sharing something life has taught me.

YOGA, MEDITATION, AND CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICES FOCUSING UPON LIVING WITH AN OPEN HEART

Do you value generosity, honesty, humility and quietude? Are you drawn to people who think beyond themselves, who care about how they move through the world, how they show up for others, and what it means to live for something larger than themselves?

If so, I feel we’ll connect. This is a space for people who value a contemplative life, want to keep an open heart, seek understanding and connection, and look for grace and gratitude in everyday life.
