On the island of Kaua‘i, Leah Klasovsky created Leahlani with the intention of turning everyday skincare into meaningful rituals. Her Bless Beauty Bar is a collaboration with her mother, Jenny, an artisan soapmaker. In their family, the word bless is an expression of gratitude, affection, and kindness.
I was initially drawn to this beautiful soap for its uplifting fragrance, but I've come to love its name just as much. Each time I see the word bless, I'm reminded to look for the blessings in my own life, especially the small, ordinary ones that are so easily overlooked.
I love how something as simple as bathing can become an opportunity to pause, give thanks, and appreciate the goodness already present.
The Comfort of Being Grounded
Kashwére | Chenilla Classic Throw
Merri Gleckler founded Kashwére with a simple vision: to create the luxurious softness of cashmere with the ease of everyday care. It was during a stay at Miraval that I first experienced one of their beautiful throws.
I especially loved its comforting weight and earthy brown color, which evokes a sense of stability, rootedness, and connection to the earth. Wrapping myself in it felt like an invitation to settle more deeply into the present moment.
I generally prefer natural fibers for the qualities and subtle energy I associate with them. I've searched for a natural-fiber throw that offers this same comfort, but haven't found one quite like it. For this one, I'm happily making an exception.
A Blessing in the Ordinary
Warmth in Our Hands
Whiskey & Clay | Handmade Tumbler
After a season of heartbreak, Kimmy Rohrs discovered pottery, a creative practice that eventually grew into Whiskey & Clay, her ceramics studio in Santa Fe.
I love the natural, earthy colors and beautiful textures of her handmade tumblers. There's something especially comforting about cradling a warm cup between both hands, feeling its warmth, and lingering over something as simple as morning tea.
A little reminder of the beauty found in ordinary moments.
